Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan Route Now Operational: Ticket Prices Revealed
Today marks the launch of the first international passenger transport on the Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan route this year. The information was reported by the press service of the South Caucasus Railways.
It was noted that as of June 24, around 1500 tickets have already been sold.
The company informs that trains on this route will operate every two days. Passengers are offered four types of services: reserved seat (plazkart), compartment (kupe), high comfort compartment, and sleeping carriage.
The price of tickets to the Black Sea resorts from Yerevan starts at 13,000 AMD. The train departs at 14:00, and the journey takes approximately 17.5 hours. Tickets can be purchased not only at the ticket offices of the main train stations in Armenia and Georgia but also online on the HKE website.
The company emphasizes that HKE and the international team of specialists have done everything possible to quickly restore the damaged sections of the railway caused by the May floods.
