China Calls on NATO to Reassess Its Actions in Ukraine
The international community has a fair opinion about NATO's role in the Ukraine conflict. The alliance must reconsider its actions, stated China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Lin Qi. His remarks were reported by RIA Novosti.
“NATO should reevaluate its actions rather than conduct arbitrary defamatory attacks against China,” urged the representative of the Chinese foreign policy agency. Lin Qi emphasized that China consistently supports the resolution of the situation and offers peaceful initiatives, stating that it is neither the creator nor a party in the Ukrainian conflict.
On May 24, Brazil and China proposed organizing a new conference regarding Ukraine, which would involve both Moscow and Kyiv. This format implies equal participation of all parties as well as fair discussions of all peace initiatives.
