Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has posted clips of his meeting with residents of the Jakateni community in the Syunik province on his Facebook page.

“I was thinking about how to develop the village of Jakateni, thousands of tourists should come here, but the fact is that without peace this is not possible,” he said, adding that the village is primarily engaged in livestock farming.

“The livestock goes away and does not return, residents have been forced to reduce their numbers,” locals noted.

“Now I want to show what we are doing in Voskepar; we are setting up a line of barbed wire along the border, which means it is excluded for a person to pass here. Cows will not get through from the start; the border guards are standing, but even if they do manage to reach, it is excluded, they won’t pass,” Pashinyan highlighted. More details are in the video.
