Number of Detained Individuals
The Police of the Republic of Armenia have detained 60 supporters of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement from the Proshyan-Demirchyan intersection. This information has been reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
The citizens were detained under Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to comply with a lawful demand of a police officer).
It should be noted that members and supporters of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, demanding the resignation of the current government, have been blocking a section of Baghramyan Avenue since June 10. This morning, the number of police officers in that area has increased as government officials have arrived for a session in the National Assembly.
