Hungary's Foreign Minister: In Addition to Armenia, €10 Million from the European Peace Fund Should Also Be Provided to Azerbaijan
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, has stated that in addition to Armenia, support from the European Peace Fund should also be extended to Azerbaijan. He made this announcement during a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.
He addressed the issue of the €10 million assistance from the European Peace Fund to Armenia, saying, “We believe that the same assistance should also be provided to Azerbaijan.”
Szijjarto added that the main issue Hungary will focus on as the presidency of the Council of the European Union is to support initiatives regarding peace and cooperation between states.
