VIDEO: 'You have given too little of my homeland, and you say come to Yerevan?' - A Kiran resident to Pashinyan
“Let me have my homeland, will you give me my father's grave? You are giving away my homeland.” This was stated by a resident of Kiran during a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. In response, Pashinyan remarked, “The homeland begins where the border is; I regret to say.” The Kiran resident replied, “The homeland begins where my grandfather planted a tree.”
Then Pashinyan stated that not a single millimeter of the Republic of Armenia's sovereign territory has been given away and told the Kiran residents to go to Yerevan and meet with lawyers.
“You have given too little of my homeland, and you say come to Yerevan? He who gives away even one centimeter of my homeland will pay with his life, I promise,” said one of the residents. Pashinyan responded, “I agree, whoever has given something away should be held accountable.”
