Video: Police Car Nearly Hits Journalist
Moments ago, a police car nearly ran over a journalist from the 'Mediahub' on Abovyan Street, near the Republican Youth Center. One of the officers in a red beret approached the frightened journalist and attempted to calm him down.
There is a significant police presence in the area. It is noteworthy that protests and awareness actions are taking place again in Yerevan. Participants of the movement 'Tavush for Homeland' temporarily blocked the intersections of Sayat-Nova-Nalbandyan and Sayat-Nova-Abovyan.
Police removed one of the drivers, who had joined the young protestors and blocked the road, from his vehicle and took him into custody. Members of the National Assembly from the 'Armenia' faction, including Gegham Manukyan, Artur Khachatryan, and Mher Sahakyan, are present at the scene.
