Military Exercises Commenced in Armenia

The Armenian Armed Forces have launched a new strategic command-staff military exercise. This has been reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The purpose of the exercise is to test the practical implementation of the deployment and combat application plans of the Armenian Armed Forces, to study the combat (administrative) capabilities of the participating forces, resources, and management bodies, as well as the various applications of reinforcement forces and resources.

According to the department, the exercise aims to enhance the level of coordination among the working groups, units, military formations, and subunits' staff created in the military management bodies, improve the practical skills of officers during combat preparation and execution, raise the level of field training, and develop the moral-psychological qualities and physical endurance of the personnel, as well as the sense of camaraderie within the troops.

The strategic command-staff exercise will include a significant number of tactical and tactical-specialized drills featuring live combat shooting and the use of training facilities equipped with automated management systems and modern technologies.
