Photos: JCB Tractor Overturns in Yerevan, Causing Road Retaining Wall Collapse
Today, May 13, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 3:00 PM, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a call reporting that an excavator had collided with a pillar and overturned on Sari Tagh Street 3.
This is reported by Shamshyan.com. It was noted that a firefighting crew from Yerevan's number 3 rescue unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. It was found that the JCB tractor overturned while performing work, resulting in a fuel leak. According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no casualties.
The firefighters are maintaining vigilance and, together with citizens, have transported the fuel to another container. The overturning caused a collapse of about 50 square meters of the road's retaining wall. It was established that the tractor was driven by 38-year-old Argam Harutyunyan, a resident of Gegharkunik Province.
