Turkey's Foreign Ministry on Agreement Reached Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has welcomed the agreement reached by the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the commitment to continue the delimitation work.
"This positive development, achieved through direct negotiations, is an important step towards signing a final peace agreement," the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in its announcement.
It should be recalled that the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on April 19 to start the delimitation process from the Tavush region. The description of the relevant sections of the border will be prepared taking into account the clarification of coordinates obtained from geodetic measurements in the field, which will be formalized in the corresponding protocol-description.
