The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, warmly welcomed the agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration as a basis for delimiting the borders between the two countries. He expressed this on his microblog on X.
"The delimitation of borders based on mutual recognition of the territorial integrity of both countries has also been a key element in discussions in Brussels and is a significant step towards resolving relations and ensuring peace in the entire region," Michel wrote.
