Defense Ministers of NATO Member Countries to Meet with Vladimir Zelensky
On April 19, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council will take place to discuss support for Ukraine. This was announced by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He stated at a press conference in Brussels that the meeting was requested by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. In addition to Zelensky, the defense ministers of NATO countries will be present at the meeting. The participants will discuss military assistance to Ukraine.
“Issues regarding the increase of support for Ukraine will be considered. In particular, I expect discussions on air defense and artillery shells, continuing the Czech initiative that has received support from the Netherlands and Denmark,” Stoltenberg said after a conference attended by the prime ministers of the Netherlands, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.
