Iran is a Global Problem: Gantz

And this is a strategic gain that must be developed and strengthened for the sake of Israel's security," Gantz stated.

"This event is not over yet. Our strategic alliance and cooperation have faced a serious test, and we need to strengthen it now. Israel proved yesterday that it is a fortress of technological power and a security bulwark in the Middle East. We have formed an international coalition against Iran, and we will decide when and how to respond to Iran," the politician said.

Gantz emphasized that Israel has not yet achieved its main objectives in the war against Hamas, naming these objectives as the return of hostages and the return of displaced residents from the north to their homes. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has called on the government to set aside all rational considerations regarding the proportionality and weighing of military responses to Iran and to "restore deterrent power" without regard to the consequences.
