Iran Fires 185 Drones and 36 Cruise Missiles Towards Israel
On Sunday night, Iran launched 185 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 36 cruise missiles toward Israel in response to the Israeli military's shelling of its consulate in Damascus. This information was reported by The New York Times, citing Israeli officials. The report was conveyed by RG.ru.
They assert that most of the launches were carried out from Iranian territory, with a small number of drones launched from Iraq and Yemen. It is also noted that Iran fired a class of 110 'ground-to-ground' missiles, as reported by TASS.
Earlier, Israel Defense Forces representative Daniel Hagari stated that Israel's missile defense system was able to intercept most of the Iranian missiles and drones outside of Israeli territory. However, some missiles did land within the country, causing minor damage.
