Increase of Tensions in the Middle East Raises Serious Concerns: Armenian Foreign Ministry
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has urged that priority be given to dialogue to avoid further confrontation in the Middle East. In an announcement published on its official page on social media, it stated, 'The rise of tensions in the Middle East raises serious concerns. We call for priority attention to be given to dialogue. It is necessary to avoid further confrontation.'
It is noteworthy that Iran launched more than 300 strike drones and missiles toward Israel from its territory on Saturday night, marking the Islamic Republic's first direct attack on Israel. IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari reported that Iran has launched a total of over 300 weapons toward Israel, including 170 unmanned aerial vehicles, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles, with 99% of them intercepted by Israel's air defense.
