The U.S. to Provide Armenia with Armored Ambulances: Christina Quinn
The United States will provide Armenia with armored ambulances. In an interview with ‘Azatutyun’ (Liberty) Radio, the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, Christina Quinn, announced that they are working on the implementation methods for this assistance.
“Armenia has requested armored ambulances, which they can use to enter conflict zones, and individuals transported in these vehicles will be protected. We have already agreed to move forward on this matter, and are now working on the means of implementation to provide that assistance. And, as I mentioned, we are discussing a variety of topics and trying to see where we can be helpful to Armenia in terms of its defense,” the ambassador stated.
When asked whether the United States is considering the possibility of joining the European Union’s observer mission at the Armenian border, similar to what Canada did last year, the ambassador denied this information. “No, we do not have such a plan at the moment, but of course, we do not rule anything out for the future,” she said.
