The Massacre of Armenians in Maragha is Another Episode of Azerbaijan's Ethnic Cleansing Policy: Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has commemorated the massacres in Maragha on the microblog Twitter, making the following statement:
“32 years ago on this day, the massacre of Armenians in the town of Maragha in Nagorno-Karabakh is another episode of Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing policy. More than 50 civilians were brutally killed, as many were taken captive, and around 5,000 residents were forcibly displaced. This is documented in reports from human rights organizations. We honor the memory of innocent victims and emphasize the necessity of preventing such policies.”
