Turkey Reinstates Visa Regime for Tajik Citizens
Turkey has canceled the visa-free regime for Tajik citizens holding ordinary passports by a decree from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This decision follows reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding mass arrests of foreign nationals suspected of links to the "Islamic State" organization.
Earlier, at least four detainees implicated in a terrorist incident at the Crocus City Hall concert venue in the Moscow region stated that they had come to Moscow from Turkey.
In response, Tajikistan is considering implementing a visa regime for Turkish citizens based on the principle of reciprocity, according to the Tajikistan Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
