Where the Statue of Jesus Christ from Paravakar Church Was Found
Reports of the statue of Jesus Christ being stolen by Azerbaijanis from the church in the village of Paravakar in the Tavush region are not true. In a conversation with "Haykakan Zhamanak", the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, stated that the measures taken have clarified that the statue was not stolen from the mentioned church. It was found on the ground, in a damaged condition.
"We urge not to publish unverified information," said Sargsyan.
