Car Overturned, Approximately 100 Liters of Diesel Spilled on Roadway

On April 1, at 08:25, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue service received information about an accident on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, where assistance from rescuers was needed. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a UAZ vehicle, carrying 600 liters of diesel fuel and driven by K. D., overturned at the 147th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. Approximately 100 liters of diesel fuel spilled onto the roadway, but there were no casualties.

Before the rescuers arrived, local efforts had already righted the vehicle. Rescuers then undertook washing operations on the highway.
