Snowfall in Vardenyats Pass, Kapan, Goris, Dilijan, and Ijevan: Road Conditions Update

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers. Snowfall has been recorded in Vardenyats Pass, Kapan, Goris, Dilijan, and Ijevan.

Regarding Lars, information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's North Ossetia Crisis Management Center indicates that the Stepanstminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
