Deputy Minister of Health to Be Removed from Position
Armen Nazaryan will be removed from the position of Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed the decision today.
“Guided by Article 9, Part 1 of the Law on Public Service, Armen Nazaryan is to be relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister of Health effective February 26, 2024,” the decision states.
It is noteworthy that Armen Nazaryan was appointed as Deputy Minister of Health on September 7, 2021. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Minister, he headed the Health Department of the Ministry of Defense, which was responsible for the health services of servicemen, their social security, and veterans’ health.
