Fierce battles are ongoing in the center of Avdiivka, Ukraine, with planned reinforcements taking place. This was announced in a Telegram statement by Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Tavriia operational-strategic group, according to RBC.

“New positions have been prepared, and strong fortifications are continuing, taking into account all possible scenarios. Local commanders know their tasks and are executing them according to plan,” the general wrote, emphasizing that Ukraine values “every piece of territory,” but the highest priority remains the preservation of Ukrainian soldiers' lives.

American media reports that Avdiivka may fall under the control of Russian armed forces in the coming days. Additionally, footage is also circulating online.
