Relatives of Patient Attack On-Duty Doctor and Security Personnel

On February 7 at 20:25, the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that relatives of a patient were damaging property at the Mikayelyan Medical Center, and a security staff member was injured during the altercation. This was reported by the police.

A response team from the Kanaker-Zeitun division of the police was dispatched to the hospital. It was determined that at 20:10, a 26-year-old man was admitted for treatment, diagnosed with 'alcohol intoxication and coma.' His three relatives displayed overt disrespect towards society, grossly violated public order, and verbally abused while physically assaulting the on-duty doctor and two security personnel, resulting in bodily injuries.

The 28-year-old from Yerevan, a 38-year-old from Tsaghkunq village, and a 28-year-old from Norakert village were arrested and presented to the Kanaker-Zeitun police department. The relevant documents have been forwarded to the investigative department.
