Details have emerged regarding the possible transfer of Armenian national team player and Moscow's Lokomotiv defender Nair Tiknizyan to St. Petersburg's Zenit.

Russian insider Ivan Karpov has reported that the Moscow club is ready to part ways with the 24-year-old footballer for a sum of €10-12 million.

Earlier rumors circulated that Zenit intends to acquire a new left-back, and one of the most desirable candidates is Nair Tiknizyan.

During the current season, the Armenian defender has played 23 matches across all competitions for Lokomotiv, contributing 8 goals and 5 assists.

Transfermarkt estimates his transfer value at €7 million.
