VIDEO: "The Construction of the New Road Will Alleviate Traffic" - Avinian
"The construction of this road is a project that has been discussed extensively and has passed all studies, which will significantly alleviate road traffic," stated Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinian, commenting on the 60 million dollar loan agreement between Armenia and the Asian Development Bank.
It is reminded that the agreement provides for the allocation of 60 million euros for the construction of the Isakov-Arshakunyats road segment.
According to Tigran Avinian, the Monte Melkonyan road will be directly connected to Arshakunyats Avenue.
He emphasized that the construction of the road is important in the context of the new neighborhood development in Noragugh: "It allows investors to consider Noragugh as a new opportunity for investments."
The mayor highlighted that the construction of the road will be carried out by them with the support of the government: "This creates the possibility of having certain preliminary infrastructure in that neighborhood in the future."
Avinian also mentioned that there will be a concept for the construction of the Noragugh neighborhood, which will be presented to the government and the public: "In addition to alleviating traffic, this road creates certain opportunities for discussing the new concept of Noragugh."
