A Cyclone is Approaching Armenia from the West
A cyclone is approaching Armenia from the west, according to the Ministry of Environment’s «ArmStateHydromet» Service.
"Due to the penetration of the cyclone from the west, precipitation is expected across the entire territory of the Republic on the afternoon of January 5 and the night of January 5-6. In the regions of Shirak, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and the mountainous areas of Syunik, snowfall is anticipated. In some areas, blizzard conditions, fog, and black ice on the roads are also expected," the statement said.
