Should We Offer Cognac to Our Guests? Avinyan
This year, a tremendous amount of work has been carried out by the city hall and district staff, and I believe they deserve some praise.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated this during a year-end press conference, commenting on a journalist's observation that the leadership of one of Yerevan's administrative districts spent 3 million drams for a New Year's corporate event, which included 10-year aged cognacs.
"Everything has its place. The level of conversation cannot be reduced to this degree of primitivism. Focusing on the purchase of a single cognac amidst the enormous expenditures of the Yerevan municipality is simply unreasonable. Should we offer cognac to our guests or not? And what if it was that cognac?" Avinyan asked.
In the mayor's opinion, what is more important here is not the amount or form of service purchased, but the quality.
