What Did Armen Grigoryan and the Iranian Foreign Minister Discuss?
“I met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian,” wrote the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on his Facebook page.
During the meeting, Armen Grigoryan discussed the Armenian government's 'Peace Crossroads' initiative with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. “We emphasized the importance of the continuity of high-level political dialogue based on mutual respect between our two friendly countries and the millennia-old brotherhood of our peoples,” noted the Secretary of the Security Council.
The meeting also addressed issues related to bilateral economic and security relations, highlighting the need for deepening cooperation between Armenia and Iran and taking effective steps towards implementing agreed initiatives in this direction.
