Call in the U.S. to Reduce Biden's Press Secretary Salary to One Dollar a Year

Calls have been made in the United States to reduce President Joe Biden's press secretary salary to just one dollar a year.

“Karine Jean-Pierre spent a year avoiding honest questions from reporters, lying to the American people, and violating the Hatch Act (which prohibits federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity or influencing election outcomes while in office),” stated Congresswoman Claudia Tenney on X, her microblog.

She announced, “For that reason, I support cutting her salary down to one dollar a year.”
