The Road to Upper Lars is Completely Closed
The road to Upper Lars has been closed to passenger vehicles as well. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by Vahan Hakobyan, the customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
"Due to deteriorating weather conditions, the Upper Lars checkpoint and the Khachi mountain pass are completely closed in both directions for all types of vehicles," said Hakobyan.
It is worth noting that on the evening of December 22, the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway was closed for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers due to snow and icy conditions.
