Earlier, we mentioned that tensions continue in the village of Noratus in the Gegharkunik region, where conflicts between water patrols and illegal fishermen persist. Last night, several fishermen from nearby villages gathered in Noratus and are preparing to stage a protest by blocking the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

The police, who have been stationed there for three days to prevent clashes between fishermen and water patrols, have stepped up their actions, detaining those leaving the village. A resident of Noratus, Bagrat, told the newspaper that around 30 people have already been arrested.
