During the operational meeting of the Yerevan City Hall, Mayor Tigran Avinyan inquired with his advisor Kamo Areyan whether the equipment was technically sufficient for snow removal. Areyan informed the mayor that the snow removal equipment had been prepared in advance.

“The roads have been treated, and we have not encountered any issues. We have brought in 50 units of new sidewalk cleaning equipment and distributed them to the administrative districts. A workforce of 760 will also engage in cleaning operations,” he detailed.

In response, Avinyan noted that it is essential to pay sufficient attention not only to the roads but also to the sidewalks.
