Strong Earthquake in Turkey
A strong earthquake has struck western Turkey, with tremors felt in the European part of Istanbul. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
At least three shocks were felt around 10:43 local time. According to the seismologists of Turkey's Disaster Management Authority, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1, with the epicenter located near the town of Mudanya in Bursa province, and the focal depth at 5 km.
There are no reports of injuries or collapses.
