Establishment of an Ethics Committee Proposed by Zeynalyan in City Council
Member of the Yerevan City Council from the "Republic" faction, Artak Zeynalyan, has proposed the establishment of an ethics committee in the council related to yesterday's incident.
"The ethics committee will include individuals who have been neutral and have not expressed any stance regarding this phenomenon, so I urge everyone to refrain from expressing opinions or giving evaluations. I also encourage high-ranking officials to avoid making public statements on this matter, so that the future ethics committee is not constrained," he added.
Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated that the proposal is acceptable and subject to discussion.
