Baku Deems US High-Level Visits Unnecessary: Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has responded to statements made by James O'Brien, the US Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, regarding Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani media reports this information.
“Regarding the postponement of bilateral meetings and high-level contacts initiated by the United States, and the statement that our bilateral relations cannot be the same as before, it should be noted that relationships cannot be one-sided. Thus, the same approach will be equally applied by Azerbaijan. In this situation, we consider the possibility of high-level visits from the US to Azerbaijan unnecessary,” the statement reads.
