Armenia is Ready for Peace Says Armen Grigoryan
“Armenia is ready for peace. We have received a mandate for the establishment of peace,” said Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
“At this moment, we want to clarify the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, publicly affirm the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia of 29,800 square kilometers, and ensure unblocking occurs based on four principles. These are important principles that we are ready to finalize negotiations on, as well as resolve all humanitarian issues that exist. One of the important issues is the return of prisoners and the establishment of peace,” he stated.
He noted that Armenia is ready for a tripartite meeting in Brussels. “There was a planned meeting at the leaders' level that was supposed to take place at the end of October; Armenia had expressed readiness to attend this meeting, but unfortunately, it did not happen. We hope that it will be possible to have it in the near future. Armenia is ready to continue negotiations on this agenda, come to Brussels, reach a conclusion, and sign a peace agreement,” emphasized the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
