Video: Armenia Remains Committed to Signing Peace Treaty with Azerbaijan, Says Deputy Foreign Minister
Clearly defining the borders remains a crucial issue for Armenia. This was stated by Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, during a conversation with journalists.
"We believe that the cornerstone of the peace treaty should be the demarcation of the borders between the two countries," he noted. According to Kostanyan, another important matter is the documentation of the four principles of the unblocking process, which are also articulated in the Granada declaration.
"Establishing clear mechanisms for dispute resolution will also be significant; these are the issues on which both sides still need to align their positions," emphasized the Deputy Foreign Minister.
Kostanyan stated that Armenia remains interested in signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
