Azerbaijani Lawyer Requests Acquittal for Vagif Khachatryan

During a court session at the military court in Baku, Vagif Khachatryan's lawyer made a plea for his acquittal. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.

Following this, Khachatryan was given the opportunity for his final statement. He did not admit guilt and requested the court to acquit him.

The judges have retired to consider the verdict.

It is worth recalling that earlier, the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan demanded a 15-year prison sentence for Vagif Khachatryan.
