VIDEO: Restrictions to Alleviate Traffic in Yerevan

A comprehensive program has been developed to alleviate the traffic congestion in the streets of Yerevan, particularly in the Downtown area. A series of traffic restrictions are planned to be implemented during the week. This was announced today by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a working consultation.

Avinyan added that the program primarily aims to restrict the movement of heavy vehicles, revise parking rates and zoning, increase bus routes, and introduce access restrictions for certain streets at different times or days in the future.

Additionally, there will be time restrictions applied to 40 streets and avenues. More details are available in the video.
