My Meeting with the Armenian Counterpart Lasted Over 40 Minutes: Bayramov
Azerbaijan confirms its readiness for negotiations with Armenia and awaits Yerevan's response to the latest proposals for peace, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
"The format of negotiations can be anything. It is important to understand that this is a matter between Azerbaijan and Armenia. (...) We have submitted our latest proposals to the Armenian side under the peace treaty and are now awaiting their response," Bayramov stated during a press briefing on Saturday regarding the results of negotiations with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister emphasized that during the meeting of ministers in Tehran (October 23) in the "3+3" format, he discussed the issue of normalizing relations with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan: "My meeting with the Armenian counterpart was not planned there, but we had a meeting that lasted more than 40 minutes."
