VIDEO: Azerbaijani Armed Forces Must Leave Armenian Territory, Says Gegharkunik Governor

The situation in the Gegharkunik region is calm and tranquil, with no changes in security. This was stated by the governor, Karen Sargsyan, in a conversation with reporters.

"The security situation remains the same; it is calm, and we have no changes. Just as the Ministry of Defense has issued a statement, the situation is unchanged," said the governor, adding that there have also been no recorded gunfire incidents.

The governor noted that operations at the Sotk mine site are ongoing. "Work continues in the closed mine, while the open section has not been operational for several months," Sargsyan explained.

Karen Sargsyan sees the solution to security issues in one way: the Azerbaijani Armed Forces must retreat and leave the territory of the Republic of Armenia. For more details, see the video.
