Cages to be Installed in Police Vehicles: Funding Allocated
The Armenian Police are set to modify 65 and 75 patrol vehicles for the transportation of detainees, with the Ministry of Internal Affairs allocating 45 million 500 thousand drams for this purpose. According to the newspaper "Hraparak," this adjustment entails the installation of cages within the vehicles.
A total of 464 cages will be acquired for the rear windows of patrol cars, as well as the side rear windows. Additionally, this section will be partitioned off from the front of the vehicle using cages to create a dedicated compartment for detainees.
