VIDEO: Police Are Subjected to Trafficking, Giving False Testimonies and Harassing Parents of the Deceased

During a discussion in the National Assembly on the 2024 defense budget, Gagik Manukyan, a deputy from the Armenia faction, inquired about the actions of police officers who are forced to give false testimonies during protests.

“There have been dozens of such cases where a police officer finds themselves in an uncomfortable situation in court, and even the judge laughs at them. This is a sign of trafficking, as I have mentioned before, when Haykazan Jomardyan is tugging on the parents of the deceased while at the same time turning the red berets into victims of trafficking,” he stated.

Manukyan also asked the minister if there were any directives given after Ghazaryan promptly corrected himself from referring to the Republic of Artsakh to calling it Nagorno-Karabakh in his last Q&A. Ghazaryan responded negatively.

At the same time, Andranik Kocharyan turned on the microphone and said, “There is a Republic of Artsakh, what is the problem, Mr. Manukyan, there is a Republic of Artsakh.”
