No Amnesty or Breakthrough in Anti-Corruption Efforts, Says Pashinyan
One of the greatest threats to macroeconomic stability in Armenia is the potential reactivation of corruption. This statement was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion of the 2024 state budget draft in the National Assembly.
"We need to deepen our principled struggle against corruption. We are concerned about reports that in various places and at various levels, questions can still be resolved through bribery and corrupt methods in Armenia. I want to reaffirm our political will that no crisis, no upheaval can weaken the fight against corruption," Pashinyan said.
According to the Prime Minister, this is a matter of national security and state interests, and today, the fight against corruption in Armenia is as urgent as it was in 2018-2019.
"In this matter, as before, there will be no amnesty or breakthrough," he emphasized.
