Is it Possible for the US to Join the Observer Mission in Armenia? What the Embassy Says

The United States supports the European Union's observer mission in Armenia, the US embassy has communicated to Azatutyun, essentially leaving the question unanswered.

Specifically, Azatutyun inquired whether it is possible for the United States to also join the observer mission, given there are credible reports about the expansion of the EU mission.

The embassy only stated that they welcome the efforts of partners, including the European Union, to build mutual trust in the region and to ensure a constructive environment for direct dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"The United States firmly supports Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," the embassy's response stated.
