Israeli Foreign Ministry Displeased with Hamas Representatives' Visit to Moscow
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has expressed dissatisfaction regarding the visit of Palestinian Hamas movement representatives, who discussed the issues of hostage release and the evacuation of Russian citizens from Gaza in Moscow, according to a statement from the Israeli agency's press service.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Hamas representatives were indeed in Moscow. The Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti that during the meeting with Hamas, the discussions focused on the release of hostages and the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip.
In turn, the Hamas movement stated that during their meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, they highly appreciated President Vladimir Putin's position on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the efforts of Russian diplomacy.
