Number of Israelis Forced to Leave Their Homes Since Start of Escalation
Since the onset of the escalation in the Palestine-Israel conflict on October 7, 200,000 Israelis have been forced to leave their homes and relocated deeper into the country, reports the Times of Israel, citing Israeli authorities.
According to Israeli government data, during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, 200,000 Israelis have moved within the country.
As per the representative of the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, nearly half of them received instructions to evacuate from 105 settlements near the Gaza Strip and Lebanese borders, while the other half left regions near the front lines voluntarily.
