Georgia Will Not Participate in the '3+3' Format Meeting
Georgia will not participate in the meetings of the regional consultative platform ('3+3'). This was announced by the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Georgia is not participating in the aforementioned meeting and has never participated," the statement reads.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Badalyan, stated that on October 23, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan would participate in a meeting of the regional consultative platform ('3+3') in Tehran at the invitation of the Iranian side. It is noted that bilateral meetings are also planned during this meeting.
The '3+3' format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Russia, and Turkey) was initiated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The first meeting took place on December 10, 2021, in Moscow.
