Egypt Proposes Establishing Refugee Camps in Rafah
Egypt has proposed the establishment of refugee camps in the village of Rafah for displaced persons from the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Al Araby Al Jadeed newspaper, citing sources.
The camps would be located 3 kilometers away from the border with Egypt, and their operations would be monitored from Cairo. Egyptian authorities plan to provide urgent assistance to those displaced from northern Palestine, specifically from the Gaza Strip, as they are strongly opposed to sending Gaza refugees to the Sinai Peninsula.
